Well, I have just discovered a fabric that works well for diapers. I got desperate when I discovered that I didn't get back all the cloth diapers I had loaned out and then the new baby used all the ones we had before yesterday's diapers had a chance to dry. So I found a set of flannel sheets for a bed that we don't have anymore and got 6 diapers out of the top sheet, along with a handful of wipes. My diapers are 27" square, and the flannel works perfectly for them. Yay! I wonder if I...

Hi, this is my first post there, I'm looking for some help on sewing patches onto the knees of my favorite jeans. They are ripped wide open, from seam to seam with lots of threads hanging in between. I am not an experienced sewer, and have no machine. I'd rather not have big, patterned patches, I'd like them to be as inconspicious as possible.

Any tips for me? I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance.

Lauren
