The material is a somewhat stiff polished looking cotton designer fabric from France. I have added black out lining. It is difficult to get the wrinkles out of the cotton fabric. In hanging these monsters, more wrinkles are created! How do I get a nice crisp look? I am working on the dining room table and am using a black and decker quick and easy iron. I have one window finished, complete with wrinkles and dread the thought of making draperies for the second window. Help!

The best way to remove wrinkles is to steam them while hanging. If you don't have a steamer, and your iron will press in the vertical position, you can press them that way while hanging also. Just make sure you use a well insulated mitt if you put your hand behind the drapery. If not you will get a good burn! Hope this helps, Martha www.mar-csinteriors.com
